How we operate
The Choral Society is an unincorporated charity registered with the Charity Commission. It is regulated under a Constitution and managed by a Committee of Trustees of up to 10 Members including a Chairperson, Honorary Secretary or Secretaries, Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Librarian.
In accordance with the Constitution, Committee Members are members of the choir and are elected annually by all choir members present at the Annual General Meeting. This is held each year in early September.
The Musical Director and Accompanist are appointed by the Committee and engaged as professionals on a contract basis.
