Retiring collection for St Peter’s and the choral society

This concert performance of the Four Coronation Anthems by George Frideric Handel is the culmination of a Come & Sing workshop which has been taking place during the day at the Lighthouse Community Church in Sheringham. All are welcome to join us – free entry. There will be a retiring collection for St Peter’s Church and the choral society.

The four Coronation Anthems were composed by Handel for King George ll. The best-known of them, Zadok the Priest, has been sung prior to the anointing of the sovereign at the coronation of every British monarch since, including King Charles lll.
