Society announces 2022-23 Emerald Anniversary Season

In 2023 Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society will have been bringing the joy of choral singing to north Norfolk for 90 years. Our Emerald Anniversary will be celebrated with a special concert in Cromer Parish Church on Saturday 29 April 2023. The concert will celebrate the changes in choral music over those 90 years. Alongside important works by Benjamin Britten and Gerald Finzi we will revisit two past Choral Society commissions, hear works written by our first (Norman Cutting) and present (David Ballard) Musical Directors and a new commission for this celebration by local composer, Andrew Weeks.
